part i.
Character name: Ilde Decima
Fandom: Original
Species: Naiad (Nixie)
Character powers: Detailed here.

part ii.
1.) Is it acceptable for your character to be mind-controlled or persuaded? How susceptible are they to mind control, hypnotism, or suggestion? I would like to avoid it, in general; Ilde is not particularly susceptible to this, capable of recognizing it for what it is. Someone significantly more powerful than she is would be capable of getting past that.
2.) Is it acceptable for your character to have their mind read? Does this include traumatic memories? What is their mind like (disturbing, orderly, joyful, surprisingly empty, etc.)? If the character has psychic walls or preventative measures against psychic interference, please explain. Yes indeed it is! Please hit me up if you're interested in having your character read Ilde's mind, so we can make sure we're on the same page about what you'll find. In general, Ilde's mind is disorganized, her thoughts are a bit disjointed, there's a lot of trauma and compartmentalizing going on.
3.) Are thoughts mentioned in narration acceptable for a telepath to pick up? Yes! But again, double check with me in IM to be sure.
4.) What about emotions, in the case of an empath? What sort of general emotional reading would such a character receive from yours? A general emotional reading of Ilde would probably get a lot of subdued anxiousness, but it's dependant on the situation and you should hit me up!
5.) Are there any aspects of your character's mind, emotions, or memories you would like to be picked up, mentioned, or used in character? Conversely, is there anything that should not be noticed, or at least never mentioned? Picking up pretty much anything we've discussed is cool, but please do not broach the topic of Ilde's captivity with her without my permission. Her discussing it is one thing, but it being brought up by a telepath out of no where would be a problem for her.

part iii.
1.) Physically speaking, what stands out about your character? Imposing size? Physical scarring? Tattoos? Ilde has one tattoo (a black ribbon tied around her thigh, knotted without a bow) which is visible when she wears shorts, short skirts, or anything sheer. Without her glamour, she is visibly inhuman, but trust me, I'll let you know if she's dropping that.
Visual references: STYLE GUIDE / ILDE HAS A TAIL / SANS GLAMOUR.
2.) Is your character immune to any of the following: poisons, chemical agents, telekinetic influence, radiation, or types of illnesses? Not really, no. She's actually more susceptible to a number of things. (She is theoretically capable of using magic to force out anything that doesn't belong in her, but hasn't yet mastered the skill.)
3.) Is your character physiologically different from a human in any way? This can include their blood, skin, hair, et cetera being made up of something unusual or simply differing in construction and durability. Ilde is a naiad, which in her case basically means she's a freshwater mermaid and a river creature. Her ears aren't designed for dry land, and she is partially deaf above the water. Her blood is a delicious intoxicant to those who drink blood.
4.) Are you amenable to having your character be harmed in any way? How far are you comfortable with injury to you character going? Does this include being fed on by vampires, willingly or unwillingly? If Ilde gets befriended by vampires, she would probably be willing to share some of her blood. (Mentioned above: it is an intoxicant. Additionally, her blood being magic means it effects a bond - sort of a magical trojan horse, leaving Ilde with an influence on and connection to the drinker. Don't do faery drugs, vampires.) I am down with her being injured, but I would prefer no character death.
5.) Is it acceptable for other characters with abilities of shapeshifting or disguise to imitate your character? Does this include ability mimicry? Absolutely! They would probably have difficulty doing a fully convincing impression of Ilde, due to the fact that parts of her appearance are subtle bleed-through of what she is vs. the glamour she uses to pretend she's human.

part iv.
1.) Can your character's presence or aura be noticed by other characters, and how would it look/feel to them? How would it manifest to a character with no supernatural abilities, if at all? To a baseline human, Ilde is indefinably 'off' somehow; too real, too vivid, like oversaturated colours on an oil painting, in comparison to humans around her. To those familiar with the supernatural, they would be able to identify the fact that she is, and those particularly familiar may realize that she's a fairy.
2.) Can your character be affected by magic spells and curses? Indeed she can! She can also be trapped and/or bound by them, if for some reason someone wants to steal a fairy. (I don't advise that, her buddy Sonja is kind of triggerhappy.)
3.) Can your character be affected by sin and corruption, and be tempted toward expressing their darker urges (of whatever flavor)? Ilde, like most fey creatures, is about 90% whim at any given moment. So...yes.
4. What sort of sins is the character prone toward, and how might they best be tempted, if you are interested in such an event? Lust (she'd probably be more casually promiscuous if she weren't a bit socially awkward following five years in captivity), wrath (Ilde is developing a habit of stabbing things that make her unhappy, which in the apocalypse is called 'a survival trait'), sloth (APATHY).
5.) Are you amenable to the character receiving prophetic visions, including as part of a plot? I totally am.

part v.
1. Is threadjacking allowed? Under what circumstances? It is generally, but please double-check with me first; a conversation might be ~going somewhere~ that I do not yet want interrupted. Etc.
2. Is it acceptable for canonmates that are updated further than yours to inform your character of events yours has not yet experienced? Y...es. But I don't see that coming up.
3. Are there triggering or upsetting topics you would like other characters to avoid mentioning to yours for the sake of continued comfort (racist words, homophobia, self-injury, etc.)? My rule of thumb here is that I can deal in fiction (usually; I'll have a quick word with the other typist if I can't), but I prefer people not to oocly be dicks. So...don't be a dick and we're cool.
ICly, Ilde's hot button triggers are primarily (but not entirely limited to) scientific experimentation and prejudice related to species. Depending on circumstances and severity, she may remove herself from a situation or conversation, or she may simply lash out, experiencing a PTSD-based response rather than a rational one. If you are interested in positive CR with her in the future, setting her off this way will effectively rule that out, so please bear that in mind!
4. Are there any additions you would like us to make to this survey? Looks good to me.
